Monica Cheng holds a BA and MSc in Economics from Universidad de los Andes and an MSc in Regulation for Utilities from the London School of Economics. Her academic background combines quantitative rigor with a strong understanding of regulatory and infrastructure frameworks. 

She brings over 30 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, and private equity across infrastructure (energy, water and telecommunications), and real estate. Monica has served and serves as an investor representative on boards of directors and investment committees of leading energy and infrastructure companies, overseeing strategy, capital allocation, and risk management. Her career includes senior roles in transaction structuring, project finance, and capital markets.
