Biotech & Life Sciences
Fatemah Mukadum is a scientist and connector with a unique ability to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and the business of life sciences, leveraging deep expertise in computational modeling and a keen eye for scientific innovation.
Fatemah is an NSF GRFP Fellow and PhD candidate in Chemistry at New York University, where she works with Professor Glen Hocky. Her research focuses on computationally modeling protein-protein interactions in mechanobiology, seeking to uncover the molecular mechanisms behind force-induced transitions that drive downstream biological signaling.
Prior to her PhD, Fatemah gained meaningful industry experience as a Cheminformatician at Kymera Therapeutics, where she developed machine learning models to predict the chameleonicity of PROTACs. She also served as a Life Science Analyst at Endless Frontier Labs at NYU's Stern School of Business, where she led scientific due diligence for early-stage life science startups applying to the 2025–2026 cohort.
In the broader ecosystem, Fatemah is an integral part of Nucleate New York, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering the next generation of biotech entrepreneurs. As Director of Communications, she leads all external communications and drives strategic engagement with community partners.
At Atoll, Fatemah applies her scientific expertise and expansive network to source and evaluate opportunities in the biotech and life sciences space. Her multidisciplinary background and passion for translational impact position her to serve as a trusted bridge between innovative science and strategic investment.
