Richard (Rick) von Gnechten
CFO and Public Sector Specialist
Rick von Gnechten has more than 25 years experience as CEO, CFO and Controller for small, medium and large companies, public and private (ranging from start-up to $2.0 billion). He has started, bought, sold and integrated companies, turned around financially troubled organizations, performed valuations, acquisition analysis and due diligence.
Rick's extensive experience in the energy sector comes from the 13 years he worked for the Hawaiian Electric Company - a $2 billion diversified electric utility and a NYSE/SEC registrant. In his last five years with the company he served as the Chief Financial Officer. Other public companies Rick has worked with include HouseRaising Inc [NASDAQ-OTC: HRAI.OB], UpSnap [NASDAQ-OTC: UPSN.OB], and more recently Duratech Group Inc. [NASDAQ-OTC: symbol to be assigned].
In addition, Rick has proven experience managing capital structure, investment management, investor & rating agency relations, corporate & investment banking relations, debt/equity and preferred financing, cash management, financial accounting, profit planning/budgeting/analysis, and risk management.
With GKF as a strategic partner and Rick as an integral part of the Atoll team, our position in the energy sector is much stronger.
